recent I received 1 package with 3 items that I had won on eBay. Very excited when I hold the package in hand, but disappointed when I opened the package with 3 very well package small boxes. Base on the way the 3 small boxes are packed, I could see very professional and typical way to pack from China, my excitement drop from 100 to 0. I still opened one of the box very carefully inspected my Kang-Xi vase. It confirmed my suspicion"fake antique".
I decided not open the 2 other boxes, I repacked the 1st boxes as the way was coming, then went to my pc start my process of returning on ebay system, reason I took this step into eBay request system because It is fake antique. Normally I don't take that action first if there are problem I contact seller and work together with the seller to solve the problems. in this case I did get all my money refunds I did not loose any, except my time the trouble to deal with the seller. me I got a lesson regarding ebay buyer protection guaranty and returns process
With this case I discover that are some eBay seller are doing some" Fishes business" with particularly the Chinese antique Items in US. Earlier it was organized in China, but today it is organized in US
When Listing they use stock pictures of a real piece of Antique , so It is impossible to see if it is fake base on images, when sending they take from inventories new replica and send it to you.
because of the case I can tell you how to spot those Bad eBayer seller
1. pictures are very professional taken, only shows 1 picture at ebay upload image and all other pictures only able to view in the listing Body text
2. Go to seller feedback read the negative feedback if any,
2. Many don't have negative feedback, so look to see if there are revised feedback, most of the case it say something about "problem is fixed"
3. On the feedback page normally items was sold is visible to public, if it is hidden and say "privat" not able to view by the ebay audience. So there are something wrong going on. because normally psychological of a seller who want to tell other buyer how good a deal the buyers got. It is free marketing in the business
4. see what other items the seller have to offer , if the seller listed are totally Chinese antique items , it will trigger the alarm in you too!
